For the past week, my 2.5 year old daughter has been talking about going to school. She has been saying her teacher’s names over and over again, and talking about the bunny rabbit that is in her classroom. We got to meet her teachers and the rabbit last week.
School started today. But last night, my daughter, Babs, had a change of heart.
She decided she didn’t want to go to school, so she pretended that she had a 103 degree fever. To prove how talented she is at faking illness, she even started vomiting.
Babs remained sick all night, and into the morning. You have to hand it to her for her impressive commitment to this unreal illness.
Of course we couldn’t send her to school, and as the day has continued, Babs has started to get better.
Surprise. Surprise. Surpise. What does this mean?
My daughter is a genius. She figured out something that I never quite learned. She learned how to skip school. Before she even started. She played hookey on School Day #1. Lets she what she has up her sleeve for day #2.
Will our dog eat her homework before she’s even assigned homework?
