Hanging with ORB at dark-thirty

Follow Brian, Dad of ORB Brian Dad of ORB
October 31, 2012

As I sit here at dark-thirty, my son ORB has just went back to sleep. So now is a perfect time to catch up on all the computer stuff I need to do before his mom wakes up.

I have heard some dads complain that they get little sleep and there is nothing to do at dark-thirty. I say Bah. Bah! See I just said it. Now don’t make me say it again. Go catch up on your own computer stuff. Go read this blog or that one over there. Post those pic’s to Facebook. Comment on your friends stuff. Watch that movie on Netflix your wife said she wasn’t interested in.

Here is what I do during dark-thirty. Feed/change/put to sleep ORB. Make coffee. Reply to all the comments on his videos. Check in with my groups. Put dishes away from the night before. Get lunches made for the day. Pick up the house some. Then I go back to the laptop and start surfing my YouTube sups. Get a little research done for new videos/blogs. There is other stuff as it does change from day to day.

So just do something at dark-thirty that will help the rest of your day go by that much smoother. Then when you get your child passed out again you can go back to sleep yourself.
