Oh my God, I can’t believe I forgot to write about this series and this is the one I’m looking forward to the most. Well, at the time of writing this the Heat won Game 1 last night, pretty decisively over the Celtics.

So let’s get started, this is the #2 seeded Miami Heat meeting the 4th seeded Boston Celtics. The Heat were pretty much penciled in to be in this series and the Boston Celtics, not so much. Alot of people, like myself had the Bulls meeting the Heat in this series, but they lost in the first round to the 76ers, whom the Celtics beat in 7 games after Derrick Rose went down with a knee injury.

The Miami Heat coming off a defeating the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers, in 5 and 6 games respectively. Chris Bosh have been out since he got hurt in Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers. The injury seems like it was the best thing to happen to LeBron James seeing the 5 games played without him he averaged 29.6 pts-10rebs.-6.4asts.-2.8stls. Those are crazy numbers and Wade struggled a few games but in the series clincher he finished with 41pts and 10rebs. I believe they’ll need performances like this in the Boston series because they’re a much better defensive team than there previous opponents. It is believed that Bosh will not return for this series and seeing the way Garnett has played in these playoffs they’ll need Haslem and Anthony to step up big time.

The Boston Celtics were written off early in the season after they had a slow start to the season and many thought the “Big 3” were going to break up amid all the rumors during the trade deadline having 1 of them moving to another team and rumor around Rajon Rando also. But, no trade happened and they were one of the best teams after the all-star break. The Boston Celtics reached the Eastern Conference Finals by beating the Atlanta Hawks in 6 games and of course, the Philadelphia 76ers in 7 games. The Celtics and LeBron James are no strangers to each other, it seems like they’ve met every year and last year him, along with the Miami Heat got the best of the Celtics in the conference semi-finals in 5 games. I think the Celtics would’ve had a chance not only, if Ray Allen was healthy, he’s still dealing with an ankle issue but the biggest loss was in defensive and energy guy Avery Bradley, who’s out of the remainder of the playoffs with an shoulder injury. So I see the Heat winning this series. Winner: Miami Heat in 5 games and advancing to the NBA Finals.
