Art and Craftspic This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we created a fall theme in our house. My daughter Lily and I cut out a bunch of leaves in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Our whole family loves this time of year. The girls love checking out the leaves as they change color. So with that notion we wanted to bring some of the fall foliage inside.

Materials Needed:

Construction Paper IMG_7577

Pencil

String

Tape

Scissors

Directions:

Grab a few sheets of yellow, orange, red, green, and brown construction paper. With a pencil have you and your kids draw outlines of leaves in all shapes and sizes. Draw your desired amount and then cut out the leaves. After you have cut the leaves, cut out some pieces of string to attach to each leaf. After you and your kids taped the leaves and string together hang up the leaves on your ceiling.

Once all the leaves are up you will have a nice fall theme in your house. A word of caution though. Your kids might climb the furniture to try and grab the “falling leaves.” It happened in my house so it could happen in your house as well!
