Ok, so TMNT meeting Goonies isn’t a totally new concept since Corey Feldman voiced Donny in the 80’s TMNT movie and was Mouth in the Goonies…but, each time it happens should be a celebrated moment! While watching today’s episode of TMNT, Raph swam up into a giant cave, looked around, and said, “so much for hidden pirate ships!” The awesome Goonies reference wasn’t lost on me, especially considering Sean Astin voices Raph on this series!
