Darius Johnson-Odom and the #3 seed Marquette held All-America candidate, Isaiah Canaan (seen cheating here), and the Murray State Racers to 31% shooting from the field as the Golden Eagles advance to the Sweet 16 for the second year in a row.

No upsets in Saturday’s 2nd round games of the NCAA Tournament as all the top seeds won their matchup, including #3 seed Marquette over #6 seed Murray State, as everyone expected.

In the Life of Dad bracket competition, there has been some movement.  The Real Housedads of Orange County’s The Count moves into the lead with 172 points.  Bryan Kraus is following in a close second, with 170 points.  Rounding out the top 3 is Mikel Saloma, with 167 points.

We’ve got some real boring games on tap for Sunday.  Maybe the South Florida/Ohio game is worth watching.  Will #15 seeds Lehigh and Norfolk State continue their cindarella runs with wins vs. Xavier and Florida, respectively?  Not likely.  Is there anything else fun going on in the tournament?  Probably not until Thursday, when Marquette takes the court again in Phoenix in the regional semi-final.
