Well, after a stunning victory over #1 ranked Kentucky on Saturday, the Marquette Golden Eagles found themselves fighting for their second national championship, this time against the Kansas Jayhawks.  The Jayhawks were no match to the men in blue and gold, falling by 93 points.

What a coincidence the final score differential was also the same differential between first and last place in the Life of Dad 2012 NCAA Brackets standings.  In first place, and winning the $100 Ralph’s gift card, was Sergey Aronov.  He outlasted Mikel Saloma and Kevin Ross, who finished in second and third place, respectively.

In a battle of the Housedads, The Count outlasted Jacques.  Jacques finished in dead last, not just vs. The Count, but vs. all other dads in the Life of Dad competition…a true disappointment, but not as much as a disappointment as Todd.  Todd was too busy fixing his scooter and getting double calf implants to complete his brackets. That, or he completed the women’s NCAA bracket instead.

Well, Life of Dad community…this brings an end to our first, and hopefully first annual NCAA Bracket competition.  Thanks for playing and we’ll see you again next year.

In the meantime, if you have any fun sports competition ideas or concepts, let us know at Life of Dad.  And don’t forget to create your very own Man Cave too.
