One of the great challenges of parenthood is finding fun activities to do with your children. Yes the time goes by too fast, and there don’t seem to be enough hours in the day, but sometimes doing the same thing over and over again can get, well, boring.

Enter board games. Board games can’t break the boredom.

Something I have noticed with both of my children is that when they play there seems to be a story, or sometimes series of stories, that is the backdrop to what they are doing – which is why we enjoyed playing the Disney Princess Pop-Up Magic game.

This two player game is rated for children 3 and up and easy to play. It comes with a simple board that opens up and reveals a pop up Rapunzel tower – which is a great visual. Players go on a journey as either Rapunzel or Flynn Rider to reach the Enchanted Finish stone. Along the way friend tokens can help you reach your destination faster.

The other cool thing about this game is that there are other Disney Princess Pop-Up games (sold separately) that you can connect the boards to- so one magical journey can be extended to an even more elaborate story and adventure!

This game is portable and doesn’t include a large number of pieces, so it is a good one to take on the road.

So if you are looking for a fun hairy adventure, this is a pretty cool game to check out!
