Do you remember when we used sticky notes as a reminder for things? We would write a note about a birthday party or a school play and then stick it on the fridge with the rest of the notes. After a while the notes would multiply and cover up other notes and something would fall through the cracks. Thankfully with birth of smartphones we now add events, parties, and appointments right on our phone. Not only would it save space on the fridge to allow us to add more pictures our kids made in Art class, but with the daily reminders that would pop up on our phone we would always remember what we have planned for that day.

Now that we got the issue of sticky notes solved there is another time saver that I want to share with you. Even though I work out of the home which allows me to be a stay at home dad and be there for my kids I am always looking for ways to be more productive each day. I try to get most of my work done while my daughters are at school. Being a room parent for my daughter’s class even adds more work on my plate. The ace up my sleeve is that I am a creature of habit. I have a weekly schedule that I follow day in and day out that helps me accomplish all of my tasks for that day.

Still there are times where there is a fly in the ointment or a monkey in the wrench that can throw my off my schedule. Most of it has to do with either paying for a school field trip, getting money from other parents for a teacher’s gift or purchasing uniforms for my kid’s sports team. I feel like I am always trying to find a stamp, write out a check, or track down money from two or three parents and because of this my productivity comes to a screeching halt.

You might not think that these are time killers, but just try getting five dollars from twenty other parents so you can purchase a teacher appreciation gift. Sometimes I just have to pay more than my original five dollars just so I can purchase the teacher’s gift on time.

Thankfully now with the Square Cash #CashApp tracking down money or paying for my daughter’s soccer uniform is a snap with just a few clicks on my phone. With the #CashApp you can pay your friends, fellow parents, or coaches instantly. All you need to do is just connect the app with your bank and you are good to go. For the most part standard deposits show up the very next business day. You can even spend directly from the app with a built-in Visa virtual card number. How cool is that?

You can download the app in the App Store for Apple devices or in the Google Play store for Android devices. Once I downloaded the app I was really happy with how much time it saved me with the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day party that I am working on for my daughter’s class. I emailed all the other parents that were able to help out with purchasing items for the class party.

I even made it easier for them. I told them instead of making a trip to the store they can just send me money via the #CashApp and I will pick up all the party supplies from social event planner in Washington DC. The other parents were very appreciative that they didn’t have to venture out to the store. I was thankful that I could get all the supplies in one day. I was able to check that chore off of my “to do list” and then focus on my other tasks for that day.

So if you are looking for another way to save time I suggest you download the Square Cash #CashApp today. You can save time and money. And as a parent that is a gift worth its weight in gold! For more tips on finances go to CheckCashing247.com.
