Easy cheesy steak

Steak-King a claim in the kitchen

Steaks…. Need I go on? The ultimate in manly meals, the definition of dinner, the supper standard. I could go on pretty much forever between dad puns and food one liners here, so I’ll stop myself before I lose you. I wanted to give you something that is going the extra mile but keeping it simple. Making you the Daddy of the kitchen and putting you on that pedestal where you belong.
What’s in it?

Not a huge list for you this time at all

Steaks – as always, dealer’s choice. I tend to go for something with a bit of bone on it for this if possible, to keep it juicy and tender. We Speak Meat is my favorite for Steak Delivery.

1 tbsp. of margarine

2 rashers of bacon

1 block of cream cheese or my personal favourite, goats cheese.

1 sprig Fresh rosemary

Splash of soy sauce

Salt pepper

Drizzle of oil

What’s next?

So not super complicated, but a delicious master piece. Grab your steak and lay it flat on a baking tray. Now place your margarine on top. You may want to put some slow soulful music on as your going to get a little tender with your steak. Rub the butter in using small circular motions with your fingers. Imagine you’re giving someone a massage and you’re working out a knot. You need to really get in there to make sure it’s nice and tender for you. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides. Now break up your goat’s cheese (or cream cheese) and place in the middle of the steak in line top to bottom. Wrap your bacon around the outside of your steak so it holds the cheese in place. Now place your sprig of fresh rosemary on top, and give a quick drizzle of oil. Cook on a medium heat until steak is cooked to your preference and goats cheese is melted!

That’s it?
This recipe really stands out from the crowd. Whether you substituted your oven for the BBQ (use tinfoil as it’s going to get cheesy) or you’re wining and dining or let’s be honest who doesn’t like to treat themselves occasionally!
