I was paid by Life of Dad, LLC to be an entrant in #SuperMilkMan.  In fact, I made a video for the contest.

The Captain and The Rock have a lot in common.  Okay – maybe not a lot, but we both like Milk and occasionally like to talk in the third person.  It is with great excitement that The Captain announces that he is an entrant in the SuperMilkMan contest.  The winner receives an opportunity to meet Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in either LA or NY.

The Captain thinks this is a great opportunity for “The People’s Champion” to meet “The People’s Blogger” (I thought “The People’s Daddy” sounded waaay too questionable and “The People’s Dad Blogger” didn’t roll off of the tongue, so we will stick with just “Blogger”.  No disrespect meant to any other bloggers – dad, mom, or other).

I have a lot of questions that I would love to ask The Rock – about Milk, his wrestling career, having the home locker room named after him at “The U” (The University of Miami), his film career, and, of course, being a dad.  However, I know he is a busy man, so I decided to limit it to eight questions.

Why eight questions?  Well, in an eight ounce glass of milk there are eight grams of protein, so I figured it was fitting that there be eight questions.  So without further ado – here are the eight questions I would love to ask The Rock (if I win and get to meet him):

1.        From what I have read and seen, being a WWE SuperStar is time consuming, hard on the body, and has to be mentally exhausting.  Besides starting your day with Milk, how do you keep yourself focused through the grind of a 200+ day schedule?

2.       I’ve seen you post on your Twitter account (and heard you cut promos in the ring) about your epic 4 a.m. workouts.  What is a typical workout for The Rock that takes advantage of the protein power you get from Milk?

3.       In the print ad for your new Milk campaign you are pictured holding a cat with the hashtag #ungratefulkitty.  Are you a cat guy, dog guy, or exotic animal guy?  Disclaimer: I have three cats, but really only like one of them.  The other two I consider my wife’s.

4.       Also in your print ad you tweet “Get Milk.  Save the World.  All before 8 a.m.”  As an Action Superhero Movie Star, do you have a count of the number of cinematic lives that you have saved?

5.       Milk has a new campaign called Protein Fight Club that shows what an excellent source of protein milk is.  Thinking about all of your opponents in the WWE (a different kind of “fight club”), who would you say was your most difficult opponent?

6.        We know that the 8 grams of protein in milk help you to power through your day.  How long are your days, typically, when you are on the movie set?

7.        Milk delivers high quality protein in each 8 ounce serving.  Your foundation, the Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation, is a quality way to give back after all of your continued success in the ring and on the screen.  Can you talk about your motivation for starting the foundation?

8.       We know that Milk has 9 essential nutrients in each serving.  You are a dad.  What do you find essential to being a father today?

Bonus question – How often do children see you and ask why the tooth fairy didn’t leave them more cash?   My nose is stuffed up and I can’t smell anything, so after all these years can you just tell me what The Rock is cooking?

For now…Captain out.
